Francis is committed to building climate policies that center and prioritize environmental justice communities.
Francis has deep experience working with diverse stakeholders and communities to advocate for climate and air quality regulations.
Prior to joining Better World Group, he served as a Senior Organizer for the Sierra Club’s My Generation Campaign to decarbonize the state’s goods movement and power grid. His work included advocating for the retirement of the state’s gas-fired power plants, supporting the City of Los Angeles’ strategy for 100% decarbonized energy, and fighting for Indirect Source Rules at the South Coast Air Quality Management District.
Francis received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He lives in Los Angeles and enjoys climbing, camping, and spending time with his family.
