LOS ANGELES, OCTOBER 1, 2025 – Today, Better World Group announced the addition of two accomplished strategic advisors to the firm, Meghan Sahli-Wells and Adam Friedman. Their arrival reflects the firm’s continued commitment to its national reach while maintaining local connections.

Meghan Sahli-Wells, Strategic Advisor (Los Angeles, CA) has spent more than a decade in public service and brings deep expertise in environmental justice, mobility, and democracy. As mayor of Culver City, she championed clean energy, active transportation and good governance. Most recently, as the California State Director at Elected Officials to Protect America, she mobilized elected officials throughout California to pass bold climate legislation and end fossil fuel extraction.

Adam Friedman, Senior Strategic Advisor (New York, NY) has more than 35 years of experience in economic and community development, nonprofit management, urban planning and policy and development of sustainable practices. He is recognized nationally for his work to strengthen urban manufacturing and to build organizational capacity. Friedman was previously Chief Strategy Officer at Pratt Institute where he developed relationships with industry and government strategic partners, identified growth opportunities and supported implementation of major initiatives including the launch of the NY Climate Exchange, a research, training and business accelerator, and Design Works, a new public high school devoted to design and social justice.

Friedman has a strong track record in city government, having worked closely with two Borough Presidents and a Council President, and serves on the boards of the Brooklyn Navy Yard and Economic Development Corporations. He is also the co-founder and Chair Emeritus of the Urban Manufacturing Alliance, a national network of practitioners representing more than 300 cities.

“We’re delighted to welcome Meghan and Adam to our team,” said Cecilia V. Estolano, CEO of Better World Group. “Meghan’s proven ability to forge coalitions among local government leaders across the country and her expertise in renewable energy and active transportation policies is a perfect fit for Better World Group.
